When trying to find out what my wife is thinking about.
Don't ask "What are you thinking about?"
But instead, "What are you feeling?"

The conversation:

Wife looking deep in thought.
Me: what are you thinking about?
Wife: Nothing
Me: Oh.... .... ...
Me: ...well. ... What are you feeling?
Wife: I was thinking about all the things I need to do tonight.

I don't know why it worked.
but it did.

I will try this "feeling" method from now on.

was at the water park yesterday.
chilling in the Lazy River, when I see a sign that says:
"DO NOT SWIM IN THE LAZY RIVER IF YOU HAVE DIARRHEA"

All I could think about after that, was that I was swimming in diarrhea.
So I didn't go back into the water.
and left the park 4 hours later.
